Liberal Mega-Donors Funding Pro Palestine Support Fuelling The Fires

( Pro-Democratic donor groups, which are playing a major role in Biden’s reelection campaign, are financially supporting anti-Israel protests across the United States.

Tides Foundation, which is funded by liberal billionaire George Soros, is backing two pro-Palestinian groups, namely Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, which are leading the Columbia University protests. Tides Foundation has previously been supported by the Gates Foundation as well.

Although Soros himself did not comment on the issue, a spokesperson of his organization, Open Society Foundations, stated that the megadonor is involved in funding various types of entities that fight for the peaceful resolution of global conflicts and strive to protect the rights of both Palestinians and Israelis.

Another liberal billionaire, David Rockefeller Jr., has also significantly contributed to organizations supporting anti-Israel protests. He is a board member of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, which has spent almost $500,000 on Jewish Voice for Peace to promote its anti-Israel demonstrations.

Other pro-Democratic donors, including Susan and Nick Pritzker, are also backing pro-Palestine groups. They contributed almost $300,000 to Biden’s 2020 election campaign and are also donating to his reelection campaign.

While the protests started from the lawns of most colleges, they have recently turned into violent demonstrations, which has urged other liberal donors to criticize these left-leaning billionaires.

Elisha Wiesel of the Elisha Wiesel Foundation questioned the Rockefeller Foundation’s need to fund the Jewish Voice for Peace, which has blamed Israel and the US for the October 7 terror attacks.

Jewish Voice for Peace has also been involved in disrupting Biden’s fundraising events by chanting slogans like “genocide supporter.”

Biden is finding it increasingly difficult to keep his young voter base intact due to the rising civilian casualties in the Israel-Palestine conflict. As Israel faced mounting global criticism for its actions, protests on college campuses nationwide have intensified. While some colleges have successfully reached agreements with the protesters after intense negotiations, the future of many other demonstrations remains unknown.
