(Daily360.com) Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett said Vice President Kamala Harris is the perfect example of somebody hired under the initiatives of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
During the 2020 election campaign, Biden said he was considering four black women to take the role of vice president in his administration. Earlier in the year, he promised he would choose a woman candidate to be his running mate in the general election.
Burchett described Vice President Harris as somebody who checks all of the boxes in terms of identity without consideration for her likeability or experience. He said that Harris will refer to herself as Indian when it suits her and also call herself a black person when it is convenient to do so. Burchett was shocked that a CNN poll showed Harris doing better than Biden in a speculative matchup against Donald Trump in November.
Burchett said he has been knocking on doors in Tennessee and the people there do not take her seriously as a candidate. He said she is having trouble keeping staff, but she is a typical vice president who doesn’t provide anything of value to the administration. He said it would be a disaster if Harris were elected president, because she would have open borders and continue to drive up inflation. Burchett said Harris doesn’t belong in the role of president or vice president and she doesn’t have any leadership characteristics.
Burchett’s comments come following a news cycle regarding the mental acuity of President Biden and rumors that the Democratic party is seeking to replace him as the 2024 presidential nominee. Joe Biden has confidently stated that he is not dropping out of the race and that he will beat Trump in the November matchup. Meanwhile, rampant speculation regarding potential replacements for Biden continues with Harris being the first consideration. Democratic party donors and voters have expressed deep concerns regarding Biden’s ability to win in November following his poor debate performance.
