Watchdog Group Reveals Troubling Statistics
A watchdog group, Fight Voter Fraud, recently revealed that nearly 300,000 voters are registered in more than one state. This report outlines the significant issues plaguing the voter registration process, putting the integrity of our democracy at risk. According to sources from The Federalist, AllSides, and Daily Truth Report, the data was uncovered using the National Change of Address system and commercial data. This finding emphasizes a glaring flaw in the current voter registration framework.
Even more alarming, 3,112 of these voters were found registered in three states, while 24 were registered in four or more states. Such discrepancies raise serious questions about the existing data handling processes within electoral systems. The CEO of Fight Voter Fraud, Linda Szynkowicz, has been vocal about the inadequacies of voter registrars in maintaining accurate voter rolls. “Registrars aren’t doing their jobs. Stop telling me the voter rolls are fine. They’re not,” Szynkowicz affirmed.

Double Voting Violates Federal Law
Double voting is a federal crime punishable by up to five years in prison or a $10,000 fine. Despite such stringent laws, the watchdog’s findings indicate that 3,170 individuals have voted at least twice between 2016 and 2022. Florida and California topped the list with the highest numbers of dual registrations, each boasting over 36,000 cases.
“People don’t understand, you can’t be registered in more than one location. They assume that if they register somewhere else — the ones who unknowingly are double registered — that they’ll automatically be removed. That’s not the case,” Szynkowicz explained.
This rampant issue of dual registration is not limited to only a couple of states; it spans across multiple states, thereby affecting the overall reliability of national election results.
Fidelity and Efficacy in Question
In light of these revelations, there is a pressing need for comprehensive electoral reforms. Updating and verifying voter registrations through robust technology and cross-state collaboration could be pivotal steps in addressing these issues. The importance of secure and transparent elections cannot be overstated; ensuring the legitimacy of voters is critical to preserving democratic principles.
“It’s really unfortunate that there’s so many people who are trying to sow doubt into our elections process,” noted a spokesperson for Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes.

This investigation and its findings cast a spotlight on the importance of electoral integrity and the consequential need for regulatory reforms. These reforms should address the loopholes that allow voters to register in multiple states simultaneously, ensuring the credibility of every election moving forward.
