Ohio Passes Bill Banning Gender Confused Children Using Opposite Sex Toilets

(Daily360.com) House Bill 183 in Ohio was passed, which will prevent school children from using bathrooms that correspond to the opposite sex, even if the kids are gender-confused. Governor Mike DeWine has said he will sign the bill when it gets to his desk. There have reportedly been a dozen other states that have passed similar measures for children attending K-12 schools, including Iowa, Utah, Florida, and Tennessee.

The Ohio legislature has been taking on the issue of gender affirming care for minors and passed a bill banning these procedures in December. Governor DeWine vetoed the bill, but the legislature overrode the veto which put the law into effect this past April.

A report in late June found that an official from the Biden administration pressured the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) to recommend age minimums for transgender care procedures and hormone prescriptions. Admiral Rachel Levine is the Assistant Secretary for Health of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a transgender “woman.” Levine communicated with WPATH officials and said removing age minimums will make it more difficult for children and adults to access care in America.

As a result of Levine’s pressure campaign, the WPATH recommendations released in 2022 had no age recommendations for gender affirming care procedures. Internal communication from WPATH has the names redacted, but shows the officials were concerned regarding several aspects of the way doctors are administering care to gender confused children.

WPATH officials were concerned with “opportunism” from doctors and care providers. They also acknowledged that social factors are increasing the number of children that are seeking gender transition.

Whistleblower Eithan Haim is facing prosecution for violating HIPAA guidelines after letting the public know that Texas Children’s Hospital was still performing surgeries on minors after saying they were going to stop doing the procedures. Haim faces 10 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
