(Daily360.com) Country music singer, Morgan Wallen, was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee on the evening of April 7th and released in the early a.m. hours of April 8th after posting a $15,250 bond. The singer was arrested after he allegedly threw a chair from the sixth floor roof of his hotel onto the sidewalk below. Two Nashville police officers were standing in close proximity when the chair landed. Wallen had been photographed speaking with the same officers a short time before the incident.
Wallen’s mugshot was a popular trend on social media as he was smiling widely and seemed to look rather happy. Wallen’s arrest report indicates there is video that alleges to show the “Wasted on You” singer lunging as he throws the chair off the hotel roof. Wallen is scheduled to be in court related to these charges on May 3rd.
Wallen rose to stardom after his appearances on the singing competition show “The Voice” in 2014 when he was 20 years old. Fans and observers are speculating that Wallen may have been behaving erratically after learning his former fiancée KT Smith, 27, recently married a man named Luke Scornavacco, 22, five days after the pair announced their engagement. Smith announced the marriage via her Instagram account and posted photos of the couple being wed.
Wallen and Smith share a son named Indigo Wilder who was born in July of 2020. After the birth of his son, Wallen declared himself, “a changed man” and promised to co-parent in the best interest of the child. Some of the photos Smith posted to her social media of the wedding day featured her now-husband Sconavacco holding a smiling Indigo Wilder.
Wallen was also arrested back in 2020 for public intoxication and disorderly conduct after an incident that took place at a bar owner by singer Kid Rock in Nashville. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer apologized to his fans on Twitter, thanked the local police for their professionalism, and indicated he and Kid Rock were still on good terms.
