(Daily360.com) – California’s Disneyland park-goers got a little more show than they likely wanted at the “It’s a Small World” ride last weekend. A 26-year-old male park-goer decided to strip down to his boxer shorts and straddle part of the Taj Mahal structure as angry staffers yelled for him to stop and leave that restricted area.
The man did not obey the directive but instead he stripped naked and entered the water where park-goers float though on rafts. Employees shouted that he was likely to break “all the stuff” built for the ride, others urged him to get out for his own safety while still others yelled to “stop the music” and shut the ride down until he was removed.
Some people in attendance at the park that day video recorded the man as he carried on with his antics. Some can be heard chastising him for doing that with kids around. Others posted that they were in total disbelief at what they were seeing. Some highlighted the pile of clothes the man stripped off and left in a pile right next to the ride.
In one of the final videos, the man, who was still nude, is shown being carried out horizontally by at least six park security guards. It’s been reported that Anaheim police showed up to the park later in the afternoon and arrested the streaker. He was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure as well as being under the influence of a controlled substance.
It’s been a rough couple of weeks in Disneyland, as last week a part of the Christmas set fell over and injured park guests. The people were in line waiting to take pictures near the Christmas tree when a light post tipped over and struck at least two women. The condition of the women was not immediately reported but people who were nearby said they had to leap away from the collapsing structure. Authorities believe high winds were likely the cause of the incident.
